Our safety standards
Roast Mania is a comedy roast arena — the roasting is playful and consensual, never a cover for abuse. This page sets out the standards that keep it that way, and how to reach us if something goes wrong.
🚫 Zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material
Sexual content involving anyone under 18 has no place on Roast Mania. It is removed immediately, the account behind it is terminated, and the material is reported to law enforcement and the relevant authorities. If you encounter it, report it in the app and email support@roast-mania.com immediately.
Who it's for
Built for users aged 18 and over
Not directed at children
We don't market Roast Mania to children, and the app isn't designed to appeal to them.
Under-18 accounts are removed
If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we remove it. Tell us at support@roast-mania.com.
Pseudonymous by default
Roast Mania never asks you to verify your identity or share your real name — a nickname is all you need.
Community rules
What is never allowed
A roast is consensual comedy between people who opted in. Everything below is not roasting — it's abuse, and it gets removed.
Hate speech
Slurs or attacks on anyone's identity — race, religion, gender, sexuality, disability or anything else they are.
Harassment & bullying
Targeted abuse, threats, or piling onto one person. Roasts punch at setups and photos, not at people who can't leave.
Sharing private information
Exposing someone's private details — their address, phone number, private photos or anything they didn't put on Roast Mania themselves.
Sexual content & nudity
Sexually explicit material is not allowed anywhere on Roast Mania — and content involving minors gets the response described above.
Spam & scams
Fake, repetitive or misleading content, and anything trying to scam other users.
Anything illegal
Content that breaks the law in the places our users live in. If it's a crime offline, it doesn't belong on Roast Mania.

How to report in the app
Every piece of user-generated content can be reported from inside the app — feed posts, comments, Roast This posts, roast entries and duels.

Open the ⋮ menu on the content
Every post, comment, roast and duel has a more-options (⋮) menu next to it.

Tap “Report”
This opens the report sheet for that specific piece of content.

Pick the reason
Hate speech, harassment or bullying, spam or misleading, shared private information, or something else.

Add details (optional)
Anything that helps our moderators understand what happened, up to 1,000 characters.

Submit
You'll see a confirmation right away. Reports go straight to our moderation queue.

How to block a user
Reporting tells our moderators what happened. Blocking fixes it for you instantly — no waiting, no conversation needed.

Open their profile or the ⋮ menu
Every profile has a ⋮ menu, and the same option sits under Report in the ⋮ menu on any of their posts, comments, roasts or duels.

Tap "Block user" and confirm
One tap, one confirmation. The other person is never told they were blocked.

It works both ways, everywhere
You stop seeing each other's posts, comments, roasts and duels — including on other people's content — and neither of you can follow or challenge the other. Any duel between you is cancelled and both stakes are refunded.

Changed your mind? Unblock anytime
Settings → Privacy → Blocked Users → Unblock. Everything comes back on your next visit to a screen — except follows, which you would send again from scratch.
Our commitment
How we respond
Human review, fast
Every report is reviewed by our moderation team, typically within 24–48 hours.
Content removal
Content that breaks these standards is removed from the app.
Account action
Depending on severity and history, we warn, restrict or permanently terminate the account behind violating content.
Reports can be reopened
If you have more information about something you reported, tell us — reports can be reopened and reviewed again.
Safety by design

No direct messages
Roast Mania has no private messaging. All interaction happens out in the open — in feeds, roasts and votes — so there's no hidden channel for abuse.
You control your account
You can delete your account at any time, in under a minute, from inside the app. How to delete your account →

What our community reports tells us what to moderate harder. These standards are reviewed and updated as the app grows.

When in doubt, we side with the person being targeted — not the content. Safety outranks engagement, always.
